Map Art

In 2006, I drew my first city map from a vague idea, without knowing what it would eventually lead to. This is how my Vianina map style was born. In 2007, I moved to Vienna and illustrated my Vienna city map, which sparked more enthusiasm than any of my previous works.

This motivated me to create more city maps – of cities like Amsterdam, Paris, London, New York, and even a world map. I work on each map for months, yet I constantly add new city and country maps.

My maps have won multiple awards and have been exhibited in museums like the Vienna Museum and the Vienna MAK!

Barcelona – Stadt der Kunst & des Meeres

Ich habe letzte Woche das erste Mal seit 20 Jahren wieder diese pulsierende Hauptstadt Kataloniens erleben dürfen: Barcelonas Lage am Mittelmeer verleiht der Stadt eine besondere Magie. Der Stadtstrand, La Barceloneta, ist ein beliebter Ort, um Sonne zu tanken und das Rauschen der Wellen zu genießen.

Dieses Jahr habe ich mir eine kurze Auszeit vom Wiener Winter gegönnt und war in Palma auf Mallorca. Palma ist reich an historischen Schätzen, darunter die beeindruckende Kathedrale La Seu, das Königliche Schloss Almudaina und die charmante Altstadt.
