It all started with a single city map.

Today, Vianina creates hand-drawn maps of cities and countries around the world – filled with favourite places, cherished memories and countless little stories. Each illustration takes months to create and grows layer by layer into a unique piece of art.

The award-winning Vianina Maps have been exhibited in museums such as the Vienna Museum and the MAK – Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna.

Mein zweiter Joseph Binder Award 

Schon 2012 wurde meine erste Vianina Stadtplan-Serie mit einem dieser Awards ausgezeichnet. 2024 habe ich ein besonderes Kundenprojekt, das ich für Wohnservice Wien gestaltet habe, eingereicht – und Anfang 2025 die großartige Nachricht erhalten: Ich gehöre erneut zu den GewinnerInnen!

Barcelona – Stadt der Kunst & des Meeres 

Ich habe letzte Woche das erste Mal seit 20 Jahren wieder diese pulsierende Hauptstadt Kataloniens erleben dürfen: Barcelonas Lage am Mittelmeer verleiht der Stadt eine besondere Magie. Der Stadtstrand, La Barceloneta, ist ein beliebter Ort, um Sonne zu tanken und das Rauschen der Wellen zu genießen.

Dieses Jahr habe ich mir eine kurze Auszeit vom Wiener Winter gegönnt und war in Palma auf Mallorca. Palma ist reich an historischen Schätzen, darunter die beeindruckende Kathedrale La Seu, das Königliche Schloss Almudaina und die charmante Altstadt.
