Cooperation with Peter Sittler for Favoriten

Peter Sittler, who grew up and lives in Favoriten, the 10th district of Vienna, is a big fan of my work and one day commissioned me to create a unique Vianina city map of Favoriten for him. 

And he took it a step further: he didn’t just want the map printed digitally, but wanted it screen-printed by hand. With four colors, this is quite a challenge and a true craftsmanship achievement. Fortunately, Martin Novak, who has made screen printing his absolute passion just as I have with map drawing, took on the task! Sixteen copies were produced, one of which was donated to the district museum of the 10th district and can now be viewed there. 

The map, in the shape of the district, features all the landmarks such as the Böhmischer Prater, Kurpark Oberlaa, the Favoriten Water Tower, Wienerberg, Vienna Central Station, Spinnerin am Kreuz, and many more.
