Vianina at the Vienna Museum

As part of the "Vienna from Above" exhibition at the Vienna Museum, right next to the famous Karlskirche, my Vienna illustration was showcased from March 23 to September 17, 2017. It was also printed in the beautifully designed exhibition book and featured as a full-page spread in the exhibition brochure. I was delighted by a curator's comment that my illustration was "the most popular view of Vienna at the moment." To this day, I am approached by visitors of the Vienna Museum who particularly noticed my illustration.

The exhibition not only showcased some of the oldest, largest, and most famous maps, panoramas, and models of Vienna, but also rare thematic maps, artistic approaches, and design products, extending to current participatory efforts to apply "Mapping the City" to the needs of underprivileged groups. Additionally, traditional as well as new viewpoints of the city were highlighted—ranging from St. Stephen's Tower and Kahlenberg to contemporary high-rises.
