I first discovered Geneva during an Interrail trip — back then, still a student with a sketchbook in my backpack. Between the lake, the mountain panorama, and the diplomatic quarters, the city immediately fascinated me: elegant, international, yet calm and self-contained. I still remember walking along the Rhône promenade and seeing the Jet d’Eau rise above the skyline for the first time.
For my illustrated map of Geneva, I focused on the city’s clear structure — the lake as its centerpiece, the soft curves of the shoreline, and the refined mix of classical and modern architecture.
